What is Clever Faces?

Clever Faces creates personalised early-learning books that feature familiar faces alongside simple, vocabulary-rich themes. Each book is made to order and designed to support engagement, learning, and everyday reading routines.

Who can I feature in a book?

You can choose to feature an adult or a child — such as a parent, grandparent, or your baby. Each book focuses on one featured person to keep the experience clear and engaging for little ones.

Can I preview my book before it's printed ?

Yes. You’ll receive a digital preview of your book and approve everything before printing. Nothing is printed or shipped without your confirmation.

How long does it take to receive my preview?

Your book preview is usually ready a few hours after checkout. You’ll receive an email as soon as it’s available to review.

What happens if I don’t confirm my portraits in time?

If we don’t hear from you within 7 days, we’ll reach out to check in. If there’s still no response, the order may be cancelled and a gift voucher will be issued, so you can restart your project when you’re ready. If you need more time or help at any point, you’re always welcome to contact us.

Can I include more than one person in a book?

Each book features one person to help babies recognise and engage more easily. You’re welcome to create multiple books or choose a bundle to feature different loved ones.

What if I’m not happy with the result?

If something doesn’t feel quite right, our team is here to help. We’ll work with you one-on-one before printing to make sure you’re happy with your book.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary depending on your location. Typically, you can expect your book to arrive within 7 to 14 days after you place your order.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship worldwide! Shipping fees and times will vary based on your location.

How does the Clever Faces gift certificate work?

Our digital gift certificates can be delivered instantly, or on the date of your choosing, and can be redeemed for any of our personalized picture books. Simply send the gift certificate to a friend or loved one, and they can use it to create their own unique book at any time.

How can I send a gift certificate?

You can purchase a gift certificate directly from our website. The recipient will receive the gift via email, with easy instructions on how to redeem it when they're ready to create their custom book.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

Since each Clever Faces book is custom-made, we cannot accept returns. However, if you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please reach out to our customer service team, and we'll do our best to make it right.

Can I make changes to my order after I place it?

Once an order is submitted, we begin processing it immediately, which means changes may not be possible. This is why we offer all of our customers the possibility to review and modify their book before it is sent to the printers. If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

What if my book arrives damaged?

If your book arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it.
