Clever Faces creates personalized, AI-powered picture books for babies. We use photos of your loved ones to generate lifelike portraits, which are then integrated into fun, educational themes such as Colors. These books help your baby learn while bonding with familiar faces, all in a durable, eco-friendly format.

For the moment, we are only able to feature adults in our books (18+).

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to feature more than one person at the same time.

Like all great pieces of art, your portraits need a little bit of time to be created (approx 2-3 hours). We appreciate your patience while our AI works it’s magic, and will send you a mail as soon as the portraits are ready to be viewed !

If after 7 days you haven’t had time to make your selection, the first portrait will automatically be selected for your book and be sent to the printer.

Yes, after our AI generates the portraits, you'll have the chance to review and select the images that best capture your loved ones before the book is finalized.

There is a lot of magic that has to happen behind the scenes for your Clever Faces portraits to be created. This process takes approximately 2 to 3 hours; however, we are constantly working on reducing the amount of time necessary, without impacting the quality of your portraits.

AI is very good at many things, but is notoriously bad at understanding what normal hands and teeth look like. Hands are an exceptionally complex and detailed part of our anatomy, that even the most skilled artists have difficulty representing. Normally, our portraits have been designed to not include hands at all, but every once in a while the Clever Faces AI likes to freestyle and give it a shot (with varying amounts of success).

Shipping times vary depending on your location. Typically, you can expect your book to arrive within 14 days after you place your order.

We offer delivery to the following areas: 

1/ Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, within 14 days from the day after the order is placed and to the delivery address indicated by the Customer when placing the order on the Site.

2/ United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand within 21 days from the day following the placing of the order and to the delivery address indicated by the Customer when placing the order on the Site.

2/ United Kingdom within 7 days from the day following the placing of the order and to the delivery address indicated by the Customer when placing the order on the Site.

Our digital gift certificates can be delivered instantly, or on the date of your choosing, and can be redeemed for any of our personalized picture books. Simply send the gift certificate to a friend or loved one, and they can use it to create their own unique book at any time.

You can purchase a gift certificate directly from our website. The recipient will receive the gift via email, with easy instructions on how to redeem it when they're ready to create their custom book.

Returns & Refunds 😥

Since each Clever Faces book is custom-made, we cannot accept returns. However, if you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please reach out to our customer service team, and we'll do our best to make it right.

Once an order is submitted, we begin processing it immediately, which means changes may not be possible. This is why we offer all of our customers the possibility to review and modify their book before it is sent to the printers. If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

If your book arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it.
